Porridge

Preparation: 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Cups rolled oats
  • 3 Cups skim milk
  • 1 Teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 Tablespoon peanut butter or almond butter
  • Optional: honey or maple syrup
  • Berries: Strawberries, blueberries and raspberries

Alternatives

  • Replace skim milk with almond or coconut milk

Method

  1. Combine oats, milk and cinnamon into a medium size saucepan over high heat
  2. Bring to boil and reduce the heat stirring for 5 minutes
  3. Serve into a bowl adding peanut butter. Mix in the peanut butter and add maple syrup or honey with your choice of berries
