Preparation: 15 minutes


  • 1 Bundle diced spinach
  • 1 Diced onion
  • Optional: 1 diced carrot
  • 1 Tea cup rice
  • Sprinkle salt, pepper, paprika
  • 1 1/2 Cups warm water
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • Optional: yoghurt


  1. In a saucepan with medium heat add olive oil and the onion. Simmer until the onion is golden, then add the spinach and stir. (Add carrot if you choose to)
  2. Add the rice, salt, pepper and paprika and stir. Once stirred, add the warm water. Close the lid and allow it to cook in low heat for approximately 10 minutes or until the rice is cooked. Serve in a bowl with yoghurt
