Crepes

Preparation: 15 – 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 3/4 cup skim milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 Eggs
  • Tablespoon of olive oil or a small amount of butter

Alternatives

  • Replace olive oil with coconut oil
  • Replace skim milk with almond milk or almond and coconut milk

Method

  1. Add flour, milk, eggs and salt and whisk the ingredients until mixed well
  2. In a pan with low to medium heat, add some oil. Place the mix in the pan so that its spreads flat similar to the image. Once cooked on one side flip over to cook on the other side (it should be golden colour)
  3. Continue this until you have used up the entire mix
  4. Place on a round plate to serve. This crepe mix can be savoury or sweet, so you can serve it with tomato, cucumber and cheese or jam
