Preparation: 15 – 20 minutes
Ingredients
- 1/2 Diced onion
- 3-4 Tablespoons olive oil
- 2 Diced carrots
- Optional: sugar
- 1 Tablespoon pepper paste
- 1 Teaspoon paprika
- 1 Teaspoon pepper
- 300 Grams kidney beans (organic not canned)
- Optional: parsley
- 1 Cup hot water
Method
- Boil the kidney beans, once cooked drain it
- In a saucepan in medium heat, add olive oil. Once heated, add the onions and stir until the onion is golden brown. Then add the carrots and cook for 2-3 minutes whilst stirring. (Optional to add tiny bit of sugar less than half a teaspoon)
- Then add pepper paste, kidney beans, paprika, pepper and stir
- Cook for a while and add half a glass of hot water with salt and stir
- Serve hot or cold
