Ingredients
- 1 Boiled egg
- 1 Slice of bread (your choice, Turkish bread, gluten-free etc.)
- Sprinkle with salt, pepper and paprika
- 1/2 Avocado
- 1 teaspoon of olive oil
- 1/2 Lemon
Alternatives
- Optional to include butter as a spread over the toasted bread
Method
- In a small saucepan in medium heat place hot water and the egg. Bring to boil and cook for a further 5 minutes. If you like your egg half cooked then time this for approximately 3 minutes
- Mash half the avocado in a small bowl and add the olive oil and lemon. Mix the ingredients. (You can also use a blender)
- Toast your slice of bread and spread the avocado over it
- Remove the boiled egg from the stove, and slice the egg into pieces. Add salt, pepper and paprika and place it on your avocado toast to serve
